Too often we fall into the trap of thinking about “Me.” When promoting a new album to various publications, pitch your album with the media person in mind. Don’t just rant about how great I am. “Well, our band is awesome. My music is really unique.” Think: “Why would your story and music be of interest to the readers, listeners, or viewers of this blog, show or publication” – Bob Baker.
